Install Java first. If LiteLauncher does not start, download and install it again. You can also ask for help in our Discord channel.

Data security

LiteLauncher never reads or stores your password. Like the official launcher, it signs in with Microsoft account access tokens. The tokens are encrypted locally and bound to your device, so they cannot be directly decrypted on another computer.

LiteLauncher is built to be fast, simple and lightweight. It supports modern Minecraft versions and compatibility work for many older versions, while skipping unnecessary complexity. The project is developed transparently, and its code can be reviewed on GitHub.
