Installation guide
To install the launcher, you must have Java installed. If you encounter problems launching the launcher, try downloading and installing it again. You can also contact the LiteLauncher Discord for assistance.
Data security
LiteLauncher never reads or stores your password. Like the official launcher, it authenticates through Microsoft account access tokens. These tokens are stored locally in encrypted form, and the encrypted data is bound to your device, which means it cannot be directly decrypted on a different computer.
About LiteLauncher
LiteLauncher is designed to be fast, simple and lightweight. To keep it that way, features that add unnecessary complexity are intentionally left out. One example is support for Minecraft versions older than 1.8, which use an outdated authentication system. LiteLauncher is also an open-source project, and its source code is available on GitHub.
LiteLauncher is not an official Minecraft product or service. It is not approved by or associated with Mojang or Microsoft.
